All fun games are dramatically interesting to players. If a game is not interesting, no one will play it. I find many games very dramatically interesting. Here are my top five favorites:
1. Field Hockey: The dramatic interest comes from the intense competition between teams. When the opposing team is very talented and competitive, the dramatic interest escalates exponentially. Because of this, many players, including myself, keep playing over and over again.

2. Settlers of Catan: The dramatic interest in this game comes from the dependence on the rolling of the dice. If a number, such as 6, is rolled several times in a row, the entire course of the game is changed. The drama created is what makes this game so much fun.

3. Scotland Yard: The drama is created because of the secrecy of Mr. X. The other players do not know where on the board he (or she) is. The position of Mr. X is also so dramatic that certain players do not want to fill this role. However, the players that find the game's dramatic interest in this situation intriguing find a great game in Scotland yard.

4. Bingo: While bingo may not seem like a dramatic game, the competition and drama created by the simple gameplay makes this game a classic. The pure luck aspect leads players to play over and over again.

5. Trivia Crack: The dramatic interest created by trivia crack comes from the fact that questions can be asked about anything. The opponent may know more about certain categories than the player, but it is impossible to be completely sure about which questions will be asked. This drama creates suspense and friendly competition between the players.

The dramatic interest created by these games is what makes these games intriguing. Although they are all very different, the interest that they create is consistent in all of them.
