All games have some similarities, even if they seem to be very different. This includes two of my favorite video games, trivia crack and stop.

Both games include the player vs. player interaction pattern. One individual player plays directly against one other player. There can never be more than two players. They also both involve a series of rounds. Once one player finishes their turn, the next player plays, and then it repeats. Both games require a random assortment of knowledge. In trivia crack, trivia facts are necessary. In stop, a vast vocabulary is needed. The power balance in each game is similar. The player with more knowledge about the topic will have more power in the game. As the game progresses, the more powerful player will take the lead and eventually win the game.

This proves that no matter how different two games may seem, they all have at least some aspects that are similar. Stop and Trivia Crack share all of these common qualities as well as many more.

Every age has its storytelling form, and video gaming is a huge part of our culture. You can ignore or embrace video games and imbue them with the best artistic quality. People are enthralled with video games in the same way as other people love the cinema or theatre.
